They are touring with thee Melvins in the US soon too.
I tell you what though Down III still isn't very good
on march the saints is good
the rest left me a bit cold. like it had most of the elements of something i should really like but it just didn't have the x factor.
also ... PILLAMID!
Aye same here pretty much
It has the odd good bit. And it is the best album for laughs, what with the pillamid and the iiiice cream.
so what, Lars Ulrich loves Dr Dre
the guitarist from gomez loves slayer.
They haven't committed to the cause with a matching t-shirt & hat though
hehe
I don't think ulrich so much loves dre...they are just two fucking greedy arseholes who love suing their fans
:D
ha!
T-shirt AND a hat!
That's commitment. Like, I love Nick Cave a lot and would swap all my t-shirts and shirts for Nick Cave ones and wear them all the time, but I dunno if I'd be able to work a Nick Cave hat at all, ever.
He should replace Anselmo , or at least do guest vocals
and they could do sludge/ stoner versions of Birthday Party songs. Shit would be SICK.
Hank Shocklee's production for Public Enemy
is hugely influenced by Megadeth's Peace Sells LP, as he used to work for a metal magazine.
Man, why weren't they on either of his ATP lineups?
I can see it now....
Joanna Newsom, Cat Power, DOWN.
he's only curated once
and when he did he didn't pick joanna newsom or cat power.
that's you told!
(unnecessarily)
ah I forgot that Dirty Three curated that one
it was very nick cavey.
WOAH!
I'm a massive Down fan, I remember when I first heard NOLA. It was one of the most flawless albums I'd ever heard. Not a bad moment in it. No filler, nothing.
I like Nick Cave even more now!
Stick it in your computer right
and click around the starts of the tracks. Most of them start with the same bubuwuuhhhhhhhh! guitar slide. It's quite funny.
how did you work this out fella?
I had lots of time on my hands at one point
bubuwhuhhhhhhhh!
