at Scala... anyone going?
OH GOD YES.
and then maybe this is some sorta farewell tour...in which case I hope they make it stateside. You guys should go...
'twas ruddy marvellous! I'm kinda peeved that I had to leave early to catch the train though (fucking Wiltshire...) 'cause I saw the setlist and they were going to be closing with "The chapter in your life entitled San Francisco". Le sigh...
Still, I'm really happy/grateful to have seen them before they call it a day. :-)
stand-up drummer/singer dead talented. Shame to see them part ways...
Side note; support act, stand-up comic, damn funny, right?
although i'm more used to him telling earnest stories rather than, err, talk about his testicles.
Really sad to see them call it a day, but I guess at least they didn't just carry on and slide into mediocrity.
Warmer Corners will live in my top 10 albums for a long time to come.
was really good. <3 South-East Coastal Rendezvous.
such a great night, nice to hear faint sounds of the crowd singing along to every word.
just to show how many great songs they have: it was pretty much a completely different set from the luminaire show except for about 4 songs.
can't see them anymore but at least we'll always have their music.
Missing one of your favourite band's final tour is rubbish. Boo-urns
If I could have picked one song for the encore it would have been Weatherboard, so I was made up.
