  The only ones I'd say wouldn't count are ones like 'Stranger Than Kindness', but Blixa Bargeld and Anita Lane wrote that, and 'Shivers' by Boys Next Door, but Rowland S. Howard wrote that, so they're technically not Nick Cave songs, even though they rank among my all time favourites.

but I seem to remember Stagger Lee being the most badass song ever written, so that.

Also: Loverman, Fifteen Feet Of Pure White Snow, Abbatoir Blues, Release the Bats, and the entire Murder Ballads album.

I'd go for (in no particular order, having not thought much about it)

1. 15 feet of pure white snow
2. Into Your Arms
3. The Mercy Seat
4. Hiding All Away
5. O'malleys bar (at least the first time, maybe replaced by stagger lee when i'm not in the mood for the full 15 minutes of murder)

I could probably do a list of at least 30 that'd change in order a lot depending on mood.
