But this video is just... Jesus Christ.
That's doggone moving.
Shiver, Trouble, Don't Panic and Sparks were all tunes.
first album's great, second album has a few decent ones as well, shame they let it get to their heads a bit around that point. Glasto 2002 was deffo their high point.
That's almost approaching nostalgia.
...it was all them 'n travis n' lowgold n' all that "more sensitive stuff", I dug 'em. Now I'd sooner listen to The Carpenters, which maybe isn't all that different. It just doesn't move me, man.
really enjoyed the first 2 records. the other 2, are, well, were listenable, not anymore though.
They hadn't even released the second album then had they? They were amazing that night, it's such a shame how dull they then became.
Same as Muse for me. I rarely if ever listen to them on CD, but Live they are immense. I'm going to one of the Wembley dates in September, despite not knowing / liking the new material. This video clarifies it is a good idea.
and their new Live album shows they can do it. give them their dues. and the last album is passable (better than X&Y anyway). so yeah.
Loved the first album and liked the 2nd, x & y was pish and the last album was very patchy. I don't rate them live but when on at a festival i always go and see them - go figure!?
