I've got on Lindstrøm http://open.spotify.com/album/3LczSFVUMuv2aOVhHvZte2
I almost forgot how much I liked this album. "Teenage angst has paid off well, Now I'm bored an old..."
just listened to the new Simian Mobile Disco song too.
currently teen age riot
A bit patchy but where it's good it's absolutely fucking brilliant.
'Baltimore' Go find it!
Candy for my ears, great headphone music.
but sometimes 'Choking You' hurts my brain, even though it's one of my favourite tracks from the album :(
will you be there... because my office friend has been singing it all day.
the exact track is Dinomania's Airstream, the whole EP is downloadable here http://www.barkandhiss.com/dinomania/, light airy happy, very in the bark and hiss/troublebooks mould. real nice stuff.
For the first time... 4 tracks in and I'm not sure....
Now listening to Yeah Yeah Yeahs- It's Blitz
Oh no, wait, wait. Middleclass Kill now.
Incidentally i decided i prefer ExitingARM
Kind of suited the weather and mood maybe. I'll give ExitingARM a listen later I think. Not got it yet but just had a look and it looks like spotify joe does it again.
(wow, a crap Thundercats reference. Where did that come from?)
dreamy techno at the moment while I wait for the even more dreamy ambient stuff to dl.
definitely listening to kayne right now! but will prob. change it up soon.
They're ridiculously talented for kids so young - the lead singer is only 16! It's astonishing. There must be something in sweden's water...
best song all year
She continues to astound me.
Ages ago now I agreed with the 7/10 review on here but now its really grown on me and its loads better than that, he's an amazing producer. I grabbed a 10" of his wit ha track called '?' on it a bit ago its a long ambient beatless number and its so nice, plus he has a 12" coming out on Hyperdub in the near future that is such a banger Wi-Wind It Up! D-Do Da Freak!
I should give it another try, I guess...
but the guy is just so good with sounds and the more I listen the more I really like it, it's not mind blowing like but its got alot of quality moments.
I cant wiat for this (its in his real name this time):
well, now the title of your thread further down the index page makes sense
yeah I was excited
Allez-allez podcast. Really good.
90s robots trying to destroy humanity whilst sounding a fair bit like Devo.
I'm basically turning into my mother, I'm doing laundry and cleaning and I've had on Simple Minds, Lloyd Cole, Fleetwood Mac and the Kinks.
This year will be their year, I feel it. The Woodsist album was superb, the new one on Weird Forest is much more poppy, and accessible to all.
I'm falling in love with him and Grandaddy all over again
It's a fantastic album, really lovely. I'm really pleased that he's managed to pull something so good off, I'd have been a bit heartbroken if it were shit.
Music for 18 Musicians - Steve Reich
Because it's awesome.
Really glad I didn't see this two hours ago when i was listening to Conor Bloody Oberst.
Really really starting to fall in love with it.
my first time
Richard D. James Album

I'm having a goth day, I'm all in black and wearing a very worn and faded cure tshirt :)
Stapleton - Icy You EP
going to be
Stapleton - Chez Chef EP
Probably some And So I Watched You From Afar
Alessi's Ark (http://open.spotify.com/album/4bZideACPWVLDTJYFiljyH), which I've been listening to most of the week, along with Blue Roses. I think they're both great albums. Although I may have to counteract this with something a bit more testosterone based next week, just for balance. That and the fear that I'm growing ovaries.
by And So I Watch You From Afar.
I don't think there is enough volume in the world for this song.
Best track on the album fo sho
track of the year for me so far
wonderful band lovely songs, treats all round.
I'm so sorry, I just couldn't resist.
Worst thing is, I'm enjoying it.
I've so much stuff to listen to after. I think I might stick on ATDI- El Gran Orgo though.
spotify is sex. The general consensus is that the new album is better, right? I like this but maybe I should get the new one instead.
it seems to have far more of a sense of purpose and urgency, whilst their first album came across as quite languid at points.
Really enjoying it and am going to get tickets to see her in Sleazys soon :)
Also a compilation of New Orleans funk (New Orleans: The original sound of funk 1960-75) - fucking awesome!
Love a bit of krautrock on a friday afternoon to power my way through the tedium.
Board at work listening to my album of year 2008.
noise / drone / electronica with live drums, its really brooding and dark.
I've recently become quite obsessed with Jeffrey Lewis :)
from Oceansize's Music for Nurses EP
GOOD GOOD RIOT GRRL
YEAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I'M SWEET N SOUR
I'M GONNA GEEEETT IT
Just a friendly game of baseball- don't think the rest of the office like it too much though
keith hudson and soul syndicate
I'm listening to a girl named Adrina Thorpe. She's worth a listen if you are interested.
Of Being Pure At Heart
...the trials of van occupanther. I effin love this album.
The Tired Sounds of Stars of the Lid!
what i wouldn't give for a time machine ....
a track so saccharine it's cheesy goodness would turn sensitive DiS indie stomachs. I love it though!
Allegory of Allergies. Was delivered yesterday. Really good so far, although I'm still taking it all in
It sums up my feelings at the moment ...
i'm listening to it from the start for the first time since the week i bought it and i still think that the first two tracks are by far the weakest. I usually miss them out and start with 'the greater than...'
it's pretty epic...
In preperation for seeing them in Derby on Wednesday, can't wait for it now
Trying to decide whether to stump up the cash to actually buy it or not. Hmmm.
Hadn't listened to it for ages. I'm pretty sure I don't really like it. I may well delete it and I have the CD if I ever want to listen to it again. Best song of hers is a Tepr remix
Still pretty good.
Brilliant it is. I think Mark Mcguire is quickly becoming one of my favourite people in music. Its all good.
