Dunno about you but I've noticed some strange holes in their catalogue, especially when trying to make compilations of the best albums or playlists to go with DiS content or when I don't own or can't (be arsed to) find the CD.
Thought maybe we could make them a [ahemhelpful list and see if there are any obvious patterns (although obvs this is probably more the distributor and labels fault, rather than theirs):
Metric - Live it Out (DiS/Last Gang)
Postal Service - Give Up (Sub Pop)
The Field - neither the most recent albums (Kompakt/Anti)
Bright Eyes - Lifted... and Fever & Mirrors (Saddle Creek)
Broken Social Scene - most recent albums (Arts&Crafts)
The Shins - Oh Inverted World and Chutes Too Narrow (Sub Pop)
Sunn O))) - some imprint of Southern
And I can't remember what else off the top of my head... you turn.
Ooh I just noticed At the Drive-In is now up there http://open.spotify.com/artist/5E2rtn57BM2WPjwak4kGd5 and Emmy's album which wasn't up there before http://open.spotify.com/album/3r05pRY88M5NRwmIybNzaj
