K. Thx. Bye.
I've heard that their live show is something else, i can't wait till stag and dagger
Amazingly intense to watch aswell.
despite a diddy little crowd and almost being swallowed by the main stage. They abused the PA though so it was worth it.
I remember James Graham questioning why they had been put on that stage... awesome all the same. I remember feeling pretty annoyed about the lack of crowd because they were probably the best band there.
their stage presence was a bit lacking, that said, I was right at the barrier at Latitude last year singing along!
Just got the album from Emusic and giving it a first listen :-)
When i saw them i thought they sounded pretty bad. The vocals were completely buried under the layers of noise. I'll be seeing them again on Friday. Hopefully, there will be a decent soundman present.
THey're certainly up there, heard their new song today though and I'm not filled with masses of hope for the new album.
14 autumns is one of my favorites of all time though, and sounds even better live. Can't wait for Stag and Dagger! For my money though I'd say Frightened Rabbit just pip them to the post of being best in Britain.
Is anyone here into De Rosa?
One of the most criminally underrated bands in Scotland.
The Delgados every time
to have De Rosa, The Twilight Sad and Frightened Rabbit all in Scotland - with Broken Records a fantastic group of bands.
Martin Henry and Scott FR are brilliant songwriters IMO.
It may not seem like much at first, but the intricate sounds are just so beautifully subtle and interesting... ARGH! They are far too good.
Can't wait to hear what the rest sounds like. I love their cover of 24 hours off that odds and sods collection, just sounds so wonderfully epic :)
