he might be right, what do you think? whats makes music better than watching tv?
apparantly the beatles are suposed to be good
"In the end, though music can be brilliant at times, the whole medium comes off as derivative of Pavement."
but it never gets old, so many great quotes.
"It's elitism for the sake of elitism," said Rolling Stone senior editor David Fricke, who refuted Pitchfork's middling rating, describing the entire art form as "transcendent." "I've been listening to music for over 30 years, and it's consistently some of the best stuff out there."
get that preposterous hypothesis?
..but I think music just edges TV, as it can move you without actually relying on images and storytelling. If that was even the question..? :/
Save yourself a tedious discussion.
more about films or tv or books or whatever. I think its just a case of whatever floats your boat and you enjoy the most. Like I've never been that interested in TV for a few years really (except for the odd few shows) whereas my love of music has exploded. I'm sure that could be the other way round for alot of people. But I certainly wouldn't try and force any music on someone whom in general doesn't like music very much in the same way that I wouldn't want someone to force little britain or something like that on me.
