French parliament set to pass law which will lead to persistent illegal downloaders having their internet conncetions cut.
It's an interesting move - if it goes through (which it stands a good chance of doing) - it would mark a decisive political step towards clamping down on file sharing and pirate sites. Whether it proves successful or not it would certainly symbolize a change in gear.
Is 'The Man' doing what a lot of people thought he wouldn't do and actually fighting back? Is Downloading going to get harder and carry more risks in the future?
