Whoooo!! Looks like some good setlists recently, and some new tracks from The Eternal getting played too.
the sets have looked pretty decent. Can't wait for them tonight, anybody got any guesses for stage times?

Calming The Snake

Cross The Breeze *

Expressway to yr Skull
Can't wait for tonight, that is probably the best SY setlist I've ever seen... Looks like we'll get lots of Evol/Sister/Daydream stuff :)
and put all the sets into one thread:
All of those look pretty good really :)
Opening with incinerate would make me very very happy. I love that song.
I like the look of the chile one the best still, Mote is such an awesome song :)
No 'Expressway' last night.
But teenage riot isn't a bad way to end any show :)
in one of those last minute bids to remember them all. It's gonna be great!
Sub topic, who has seen SY before and how was it? I've seen them once on the Sonic Nurse 2004 tour at Brixton, the new tracks then sounded great, strange they don't play them any more. It was a really good 8/10 show but tonight there's definitely potential to top it.
this is what I'm doing on Spotify right now. I listened to Rather Ripped for the first time yesterday and it's actually great.
once at la route du rock back in 2005, they played tons of sonic nurse material and it was the last day of the festival and we were really far back and just not taking it in very much except for like the singles. Then I saw them on the daydream nation tour and that was pretty decent, I think I preferred the encore of rather ripped stuff though :)
and there's a couple that aren't just 'the best they've done in a while' but would make it onto a greatest hits imo.
About 5/6 years ago at Brixton Academy... really good, but I don't remember too much of it. And I saw them again doing the don't look back gigs at the roundhouse. Both really good gigs and I enjoyed them both massively.
I sense tonight could be special though, and there is definate potential to top it.
I'm seeing them again at Primavera, and possibly at MBV atp if I ever get around to getting some tickets together.
band but be warned there's always a potential for the old 'lean your guitar against the amp for 30 mins and see what noise it makes' trick.
Thurston's ATP and Daydream Nation tour, plus judging by the latest setlists, seems to indicate they're not doing too much of the amp-guitar feedback fests for half an hour anymore.
They've been fantastic lately, really tight and energetic. Tonight should be incredible - hopefully we'll get some bits from Nurse/Murray Street as well...
