Metallica - St Anger
Limp Bizkit - Rearranged
The Horrors - That New One
...unless you're a teen and you're in your "experimenting with mind-altering chemicals" phase.
The Maccabees - First Love
Why? - Song of the Sad Assassin
Biology. Do they count not being a "band" and all that?
Can't help liking it.
"How to Be Dead", under the strict understanding that everything else they've done is complete balls.
though televators is ok. the rest is awful.
(it's technically two tracks isn't it? there's another one that leads into it really nicely)
can't be doing with the rest
is really just an extended intro into this one though
I've not heard it but I think I may just stick with my opinion that he was talking shit.
I agree with Mr. Brightside by The Killers. I wouldn't listen to it in my spare time, but it's really good on a night out. No matter how much they play it.
Why that song is such a "night out" hit! People go literally MENTAL when that song comes on. If I was going to put money on the Killers having a dancefloor anthem, I'd have gone for Somebody Told Me...
love the band, hate the song:
Muse - Starlight
Snow Patrol - Set Fire To The Third Bar
I also quite like Kill the Director, actually.
but I have a soft spot for Stereophonics-Dakota
honestly. fucking tune.
Week In/Week Out
Awful AWFUL band.
Casiotone for the Painfully Alone
Some others, probably. You can guess the songs.
Take That, their one saving grace.
or When I think of You by Janet Jackson.
I was listening to Kasabian at Glastonbury fully expecting to hate all of it and to my surprise there were at least 3 that were not unpleasant, one which was really good. Dunno what it is called, if you ring me up I could probably hum it to you.
