excited. seen them at the cockpit the last two years, both were great.
about 9 times before tonight? adn every time they have got tighter and better. they make me jealous.
manc for me on thursday as well, thought i'd make a week of it.
looking forward to seeing Amusement Parks on Fire as well.
Meant to catch them at the cockpit last time round but didn't make it
Do I buy the live dvd before or after the show? no idea what the crowd will be like and don't want to lose it, but then again i have to catch a train soon after the show too
cockpit gigs rarely/never run late, as they need everyone out for the club nights after. I'd expect 65days to be done by half 10, so you should have time to get merch in.
I hear they're playing a lot of new tracks, should be interesting
that would indeed be nice
theres a bar behind the cockpit doing 2 4 1 cocktails before 7 i think and up the stairs behind the cockpit theres a nice pub serving ale and euro-lagers.
I am desperate!
not the best i've seen them, but still fucking amazing. good to hear some classics, radio protector, await rescue, swallowed hard, retreat retreat, failsafe...
but the new stuff sounded miiiiint! i forget which tune blew me away, think it was after i swallowed hard. fucking awesome.
lovely night. roll on thursdaaay. x
That was my 3rd time seeing them, easily the best. Sober as a judge too.
The new stuff sounds fucking brilliant, they've clearly been listening to a shitload of techno.
i think it's sold out on thursday bud. try the forums and that and you might be able to track one down.
the new stuff, sounded really dancey. Twas a good gig, didn't realise These Monsters were playing as well, I'd missed half their set by the time I turned up at 7:30!
mm, these monsters were good, but was really gutted for them - lead guitarist snapped his gibson sg guitar neck during the first song...
they should've done some jazz improv.
I was just queueing to get in when he ran out shirtless, I wondered what was going on! I guess I didn't miss as much of them as I thought then!
their set got cut drastically after that. real shame, hope he can get it mended.
obviously not A Failsafe on the 'Fall of Math' or 'onetime...' tours, or Await Rescue or Radio Protector on the 'Fall of Math' tour, but if those songs have been released by the time they've toured: they're being played.
I hope the set has a few more surprises than that tonight in Glasgow.
last year when i saw them there was retreat and radio protector, but not much else from what i can remember... it was a good mix of new tunes and old tunes in the set, i liked it. we'll see what it's like in manchester.
my favourite 65dos tune. Last night was the 3rd time I've seen them and I don't remember hearing it live before.
the time i saw them and they played major cities of the world. my jaw actually hit the floor.
new stuff sounded great. i like the more technoey sound of some of the somgs and some of the epicish build ups. would have liked another from DOSI tho.
was a bit upset that apof got cut short too. i wanted to hear cut to future shock.
Good tune, but if the set doesn't vary a bit more tonight then methinks it's my last 65dos outing
