The first two are both fantastic. Almost as good as anything off Eulogy for Evolution.
I downloaded the first one yesterday. Very good indeed.
the first one was great, about the check day 2 now
I put Found Songs as one of my albums of the year on my review blog
I read that he has just finished the new album and is trying to sort out a name for it as I type. Cant wait for that one.
Auld thread, but it's well worth listening to Arnalds' newest relase - it's a score for Wayne McGregor's ballet 'Dyad 1909' and is probably the best thing he's done so far. Manages to effortlessly pull together the classical and electronic sides of his music.
out on Erased Tapes as well, really quite brilliant... great music coming out of the label at the moment (rival consoles are winning me over as well)
However, these things can grow.
Through Arnalds i discovered Jon Hopkins, whose latest album is great.
The more I listen to it the more I understand how it's pieced together.
Have you got his other release The Bells? Looks a bit more accessible I think, although it was all improvised.
