Keyboards with decent String Sounds (on a budget)
On a pretty tight budget (£200?) I need a Keyboard with fairly decent string sounds. I'm guessing I'll have to buy secondhand..... any recommendations on what to look for??.

i know this isn't what you want to hear
but any fake string sound is going to sound like balls at the end of the day, so if i were you i'd eiher get a keyboard with an obviously cheap string sound and revel in its inauthenticity or i'd get a string section. or maybe prerecord the string parts. depends how you're using them really. or ebow a bunch of guitars or something.
Let's revel in inauthenticity then...... :)
Anyhow, not sure I'd fit a string section in my bedroom. hehe
Korg M1? Are these any good?? I've seen em for under £200.
I've also seen Modules for sale (e'g Roland MSE-1). Do you just plug in a midi Keyboard and then run and output to an amp??

so for recording?
you should totally get an ebow and layer up parts. assuming you have a guitar.
that or you should do it with software
and by reveling in inauthenticity i mean getting the cheapest casio you can find
and setting it to "violin"
