you have to sign up to their list to get it, whether you want to is up to you, but it is almost embarrassingly lovely (can preview at youtube - it's 'Stillness Is The Move'.
shd note: i'm mentioning this purely 'cause i love the band and i know some folk on here were fans - campaign or whatever is nothing to do with me.

I had a look at this the other day.
Where do you actually get the track? I've signed up and everything, but can't find it, and haven't received an e-mail at all.
This is the problem i'm facing....
same happened with me,
Windows XP blocks downloads automatically for me and brings a bar across the top of the screen that i have to click to allow downloads. This was disappearing after about 5 seconds, so i had to refresh the page and just catch it quickly and click "download file" and just saved it to my desktop.
As for the song: <3 her voice
It's just worked for me.
Funny that.
I fucking love this song!!
So good when they played it live, groove-ilicious
to everyone else, it just started downloading as soon as I clicked the sign up button
This is amazing
After I downloaded it yesterday I listened to it about 8 times in a row
This band are brilliant
DP are so brilliant. I saw the show at Scala and I haven't been that instantly impressed by a live band playing a whole bunch of new songs since seeing the Beta Band back in the day. Saw Foals last night and was quite under-whelmed really as the bar has been set at a new level. Seeing David Byrne on Sunday so I hope a similar situation is avoided.
So yeah, DP - very fucking good band indeed. Their new album will hopefully blow up massively.

I listened to this last night after Foals on my way back homme and it was better than Foals' show.
you know how this sounds like mariah carey?
and how loads of indie acts and rnb productions are starting to resemble eachother (leaving aside who is ripping off who) like animal collective and beyonce or whatever...
do you think that this song could potentially cross over to, say, kiss.fm? if not why not?
(im not saying that i definitely think it will or anything, but i think there's some chance)
I mentioned this after the gig last week.
It's the kind of song that deserves to dominate the summer, like, say, Umbrella or something.
If anything, they're releasing it a little too early in the year.
i don't know if that's an issue nowadays
aren't we kinda going back to they days where tracks go up the charts from their original release? i thought there was a bit of a trend towards that now with so much download singling and such?
also we certainly have a lot of rereleases nowadays
I meant from a momentum point of view.
They've toured over here, but the album is yet to come out. If they'd have released another single beforehand, and then started to get a bit of mainstream/broadsheet coverage when the album came out, I could have seen it crossing over. It'll still be big, but it might just slip through the cracks when the second single is released. It has the potential to soundtrack the exam revision and end of term release for a whole load of people.
Wow, this totally works huh?
NOT.
Can someone upload and send this to me or something?
Shame really.
I tried it twice and just ended up going to hypem - it's up there of course. Wanted to sign to the list as well, wonder if it worked?
