no idea what that bad review on here was about
Which instantly made me want to get it.
Best one of his since 'Master & Everyone', if you ask me. Not that anyone did.
Didn't understand the poor review either?
...and I think it is his best since 'I See a Darkness'. Initially I was a bit unsure but there is loads more to it than 'Lie Down...' and the rich production suits the songs better than those on 'The Letting Go'.
Ease Down The Road is twice as good as I See A Darkness!
nearly as good but lacks a couple of songs as good as Another Day Full of Dread, Raining in Darling or the title track.
because I foolishly read the review and dismissed it, but now it's on my payday wishlist. Any stand out tracks?
although only in parts. I still prefer 'Lie Down..' though...it grew on me alot and i love it now. As for 'The Letting Go' the least said about that the better. I pretty much hated it.
I have liked 'You Can't Hurt Me Now' and 'I Am Goodbye' from the start. Now 'My Life's Work' and 'Heart's Arms' are doing it for me. I can't believe the reviewer on here laid into the first six tracks. Only the last of these ('You Don't Love Me') is in anyway dodgy.
I just wanted to write that. As you were.
