seriously good. This lineup is about a zillion times better than EOTR, and if the next update from EOTR isn't seriously amazing I may sell my EOTR tickets and go to this.
Ive got my fingers crossed EOTR will pull something out of the bag though
instead of end of the road this year, but won't both.
after the muddy endurance test of the past two years, but I am seriously tempted now - especially since the druids say it'll be sunny.
is so awesome this year.
i've got a wedding that weekend!
all the different promoters bid on the same bands. don't you think all the other more "interesting" festivals will have sent offers into Animal Collective (of course bar the Live Nation events which are always in catch up)
My wallet will die with all the gigs I have for may too.
roky erickson is playing! not sure how up to performing live he is these days but it would be awesome to see one of the all time greats in the flesh. surely it won't be his only uk date.
were the two I did last year - there were a few bands who did both (Caribou, Fuck Buttons & err) but by and large this gives you great coverage
I came back from Crickhowell last year with a smirk on my face that lasted for days.
Things that I love about Green Man: the friendly people who go, the scenery, the eclectic mix (2008: from Richard Thompson to Magik Markers) the mix of the generations, the food stalls, the log fires, the dance tent, the Science tent, oh, and the wonderful music!
i'm definitely thinking of volunteering down at glanusk this year - i'm not too fussed about much of the line-up (still lots of great stuff of course) but the setting, people and dance tent might be too much of a temptation this time.
they'll play Latitude...
