I was gonna write this http://seaninsound.blogspot.com/2009/04/would-this-be-crazy-idea-for-funding.html as a long board post but decided to do it as a blog instead.

Would be curious what suggestions people have of interesting or reasonable ways we could potentially fund the future of DiS. I have quite a lot of ideas and I have to underline the fact that things are stable at the moment, it's just that things aren't ideal.

Also I'm generally a bit more curious what people think of all these various fan-funded business models. Has anyone here bought any shares in Patrick Wolf or Idlewild or anyone?
