Anyone hear his recent RA podcast? It was awesome. You can get it here still I think:
Right Road To Dubland = tune
Sorry I missed this, but I thought I'd check to see if anybody had posted about it before I did. Awesome, awesome podcast. Nice to see someone using a bit of DJ Bone, that man is a machine. Whitehouse too!
Ever listen to the British Murder Boys? I'm not a massive fan of their British Murder Boys' lame lets-talk-about-Jim-Jones-because-nobody's-ever-done-that/we're not DJs persona thing, but I heard a set once and I quite liked it.
I rejigged that and now its wrong. Forget the second BMB. BYOBB.
I was certain that this was going to be yet another one of my zero-reply threads, doomed to spend eternity plummeting downwards through the DiS boards.
Err, yeah, so this podcast totally kills doesn't it?! Interesting background too for sure. I've never listend to BMB before though, how would you say it compares?
Anyone heard his remix of Scuba's Ruptured? It's honestly one of the best remixes I've ever heard. I need to see him live, from that podcast I gather it would be pretty intense.
Along the lines of strange dubby techno, Deadbeat's new album 'Roots & Wires' is incredible, well worth checking out. There's a track on there called Groundation which is probably the most intensely percussive techno workout I've ever heard, with an absolutely killer synth stab halfway through.
I love Surgeon.
I'm on a bit of a techno trip at the moment so any suggestions would be much appreciated. I like a bit of minimal but I've been enjoying more lush, dubby stuff recently.
