A bit repetative isn't it?
I just turn it off after about a minute of the repetative part, it's soooo pointless. It essentially makes the album about 20 minutes shorter and it's not that long in the first place. I much prefer "Drum's Not Dead" anyway.
i disagree. it's no more or any less valid than anything else on the record.
though the end end end is worth the wait if i remember right. great song title too, always important...
it's BRILLIANT, and does not get boring. i think it's wonderful to listen to.
if so, let's agree to disagree.
as a teen i thought the track was horrible, now i just think it's nicely ominous but gets tedious quite quickly.
i reckon i'll 'get' liars more and more as i get older. i still don't really appreciate drum's not dead either, two or three really good tracks but on the whole i found it a remarkably difficult record to get something out of. 'really sonically interesting' is probably the best praise i can give it.
i got the first Liars record based purely on the artwork.. i'd seen it in my local independant on the shelf for ages, just begging me to pick it up.. finally i gave in, and glad i did.
i wasn't keen on the follow up records, but i love them now. first record is still my favourite though.
