WARNING...this post is kind of about real ale but mainly it is shameless self promotion.
For years I despaired of going to gigs and having to drink rubbish lager. There was the odd exception to the rule; cans of draught Guinness at The Electric Ballroom, the lovely Addlestones cider at The Albany er and not much else I can remember. In Brighton however virtually all the venues had ale on tap so when I became in charge of The Good Ship ale was always going to be part of the offering. Frankly, our ale selection in the last 3 and a half years has been a little uninspiring. We still do not sell enough of it on draught to warrant more than one; London Pride. However getting some more bottles in has been a long time coming but as of yesterday we now have Wells Banana Bread Beer and from next week Badgers Blandford Fly to go with the Honeydew, ESB and Discovery already on sale.
Sample the banana beer tonight at the gig featuring the marvellous acts below. I guarantee that you will enjoy the beer and if you do not enjoy the night I'll refund you the door charge. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will put you on the £3 guest list.
