who's coming? me is excited.
19:45 Dent May
21:00-23:00 Animal Collective
They had sound problems from the off with a power cut halfway through the first song which seemed to piss them off. The crowd was pretty poor too. The new stuff off MPP sounded brilliant though, hope you have a good time
after the first song there weren't any sound problems, and more people danced than i've ever seen at an animal collective gig. during brothersport i couldn't see anybody not dancing!
but I can't go as I'm ill (covered in a rash head to toe)
fortunately I'll be catching them in Liverpool
anyway, enjoy - they were great at Koko!
Hearing Fireworks made me a very, very, very happy dude.
I was really terrified that the power-cut was going to derail the whole set, and they did look initally pissed off. They soon seemed to completely shrug it off though.
Was it me or was My Girls very dissapointing? Did they leave out the rhythm section intentionally?! (Additional note: whenever Panda Bear played the drums and gave the songs a more pounding rhythm, songs sounded better)
might have to leave early to get the train in time though. How long would it take roughly to get from the venue to Victoria on the tube?
change to the victoria line at Euston, probably around 35 minutes...
definitely don't want to miss Doors...da da da funeral pyyyyyyyyrrrrrrrrre....
I have seated tickets though, boo. How does seating at the Forum work? Just get there early and grab the best seats or are you allocated them?
Perhaps a silly question, but do people actually sit down then?
after thinking i might be all animal collectived out I now kind of want to see them. much appreciated.
watching a band is the next level up from loving their music - fuck off with your negativity
I've seen them 5 times and theyre good live.
was one of the best gigs i've ever seen.
Doors - 7:00pm
PANTHA DU PRINCE - 7.00pm
DENT MAY - 7.45pm
PANTHA DU PRINCE - 8.30pm
ANIMAL COLLECTIVE - 9.00pm
I wish I could go
yet. i wish i had this weiner guy's telephone number.
recently..? where is this information from? I am not going to believe it until I get something concrete. if it were true it would be the best thing that has ever happened.
sorry, i'm an LDN noob.
also, massively excited! :)
also fuck dent may for being no where near as good as pantha du prince
on the off chance that any AC fans have a spare sofa - fancy letting me sleep on it? :)
sure! (this is a distinct possibility)
i JUST caught the last coach home to canterbury.
thanks a lot for the offer anyway.
I have a couple of seat tickets for animal collective at the forum next tuesday. Please contact me if interested!
Their show at Koko last year was one of the best shows I've ever seen. I hope they're as good this time.
As in today.
do they still have that ace bank of vertical white lights behind them that they had at Koko/ATP last year?
They had played in front on a MPP backdrop, with a giant white ball thing suspended above them, which they projected videos onto. It was alright, but not as good as the ATP lightshow.
I have to snap and theres no pit- please take kindly on me people who are at the front - I'm only small!
How did you aquire a photopass? I'm just getting familiar with the process, but have yet to bag anyone such as Animal Collective
I tried a few people, in the end the pic agency I work for sorted it, thank god. I think last time I snapped them I asked the support's label (it was Battles though...)
PM me if interested
haven't seen them live before :)
confirmed to dj (on KTF website). Anyone know if they normally let you go in separately with WEGOTTICKETS-booked multiple tickets? I guess it's down to person on the door, but basically I want to turn up for the whole thing and my mate only wants to get there for AC, but tickets are on my card...
I thought they were really boring last night at Nottingham. Why do they insist on remixing every one of their songs live? 15 minute of fireworks? Would prefer reverend green, grass and normal length fireworks thanks. Shame, cos when they were good, they were really fucking good. Overall though, 5/10
It was alright. I know what you mean though. They sounded so much better when panda bear played the drums, as wel.
Also - the Rescue Rooms is rubbish.
last im i we werent allowed out the venue at all to smoke as we wouldnt be let back in, cunts!
they should be on above dent may imo
