Wonder who will support. Really can not wait for the new album.
that the tour support is pulled apart by horses. Don't know if that's true though
i cant see anything on the web announcing that. i hope this is the case though. stellar billing.
it was someone posting on punktastic.
There's a gap in their tour schedule, so it seems to fit.
Cardiff Clwb Ifor Bach (25)
London ULU (25)
- nice one NME!
Kong are touring their album only 2 months after. Seems a bit soon? Although falco bums the life out of them, so perhaps. Would be awesome. I take it your going?
Just sent you an email saying as much in fact. Let me know if you care to join us....
which i'm rather pissed off about, as they pulled the last tour the day they were supposed to play brum, come and make up for it, there were a fair few people annoyed by that, me especially as you might tell from this stroppy post!
Didn't one of the band come on this very forum apologising for the cancelled gig?
It's all very well saying sorry for pulling out for an extremely weak excuse but to not make up for it when you have a chance is pretty lame.
I want to grab Falko and say WHY DO YOU HATE ME WHEN I GIVE YOU NOTHING BUT LOVE
When they played Brum when i saw them at the Barfly, he seemed really hacked off in general. Most bands avoid brum these ays, apart from capsule, they promoters tend to be crap.
Looks like pabh are support from the looks of it. Excellent.
How big do you think FOTL could ever get?
I highly rate them as you guys are probably all well aware, but I was just curious where people think they're 'at' in their career arc.
They've actually been given a fair bit of support now by the NME. Do you think that's beneficial for them in the long term? Or made the doubters dismiss them without hearing them?
They're never going to sell out Arenas. Or Academies I guess, due to the unorthodox nature of their material. And if they were American, I have no doubt they'd sell out venues like the forum quite happily.
Do you think album two will see us lot struggling to get tickets for future dates, or them always being a band who linger there or thereabouts in peoples' consciousness?
If you think about most noisy/angry British bands, they don't really get that much attention and if they do they're lucky if they can sustain it.
Looking at Falco's career with mclusky and now FOTL both bands had/have a strong following that is unlikely to dwindle, which is obviously a dream-come-true in today's 'atmosphere'.
BUT I also don't think they'll get huge. It's too weird for some people's tastes and that's fine really.
FOTL on this tour.
They are touring in July though when Snake Magnet comes out
I do hope they get a bit bigger though, they deserve to be able to give up the day jobs...
