Do It Yourself: The Story of Rough Trade Records- 9pm
In the summer of 1976, recent Cambridge graduate Geoff Travis opened a record store just off Ladbroke Grove in west London with money borrowed from his father. This programme reveals how the shop offering a communal atmosphere and an alternative to mainstream music provided the foundations for the famous independent label that has represented acts including the Smiths, the Libertines, Pulp and the Strokes.
