What data did we give them when we signed up? I can;t remember? if i get spam, it wont really matter cus i get about 3000 a day anyway in my spambox.
The majority of people will surely have signed up for the free service, meaning that there's no risk of payment details being taken. Plus these are stored by a third-company party who are unaffacted by what happened.
All you give them is your name, D.O.B, and e-mail address. The D.O.B and name thing is worrying, as I'm not sure what damage can be done with that. They take minimal information, so I'm sure it'll all be OK.
I guess they try your password with your email because they are likely to be the same and then spam people from your email maybe
