can't fucking wait
saw them at the barfly a couple of years ago and that was mental, from the look of the manchester photos noone dressed up in capes/masks/swords, which I'm sure they did last time. I hope people do tonight, so I don't look like the only fruity bloke in london's best gay venue.

so good i had to say it twice
Good stuff, what time does it all happen? I know there's at least 1 support?
they were....
Ace in Birmingham on Monday. I wasn't really expecting a great deal but it was superb. Just wish they could inject some of the duke energy/range back into Biffy. Won't ever happen I realise
wow, that was really good.
As people have been saying, so much energy. In terms of stage presence and image/charisma, this bands really got it nailed. Watching Simon go batshit crazy was pretty refreshing and the new material is catchy and dancey as fuck.
Missed the support though, Will i regret it?
Also, marmadukes merch is really nice. I want it all.
Fucking awesome
I think wearing a mask actually saved me from getting a broken jaw after Simon Neil managed to hit me in the face every time he jumped off the stage in the centre. Within about 30 seconds of them starting he was airbourne.
They do have the right mix of heavy shit and some seriously dancy parts, it is nice to see them all mental again as Biffy's live performances of late have been very unenergetic and lifeless. I thought Heaven was a nice venue too, I don't whether anyone witness the black guy who was doing the cloakroom, but he had ladies fake finger nails and sounded like Michael Jackson. Fortunately there was a sign in the toilets which read "Strictly one person per cubicle," just to clear up what amount of people you could have in a cubicle was.
yeah it was great
highlight was Simon ploughing all the way to the back of the crowd, just passed my left shoulder, and throwing himself over the barrier onto his back in the sound booth!
The support band were called Airship and I enjoyed the half of their set that I saw.
That toilet attendant guy was brilliant! Oh and the sign on the toilet cubicles is to stop clubbers piling into them to rack up lines of coke!
