Recommend me some tunes will you?
the only answer.
Best track on the album :D
you don't have to put up with her shit anymore.
Loving the arab strap suggestion. Just thought of a good one by frightened rabbit in good arms "i might not want you back but i want to kill him" exactly how i feel right now.
Then put on 'Only Pain'. Get that rage out your system. You're better off with out her :)
you only need:-
Shellac - prayer to god
Leave the sadsack stuff for a few weeks, seriously.
Sad times, dude. Try and fill them with colour in the immediate time.
Watch The Simpsons endlessly too!
The Specials - Little Bitch
is also a good one.
Dont they have payphones wherever you were last night - casiotone for the painfully alone, listen to this and you have reached rock bottom, like having you heart ripped out.
where the title of the Johnny Foreigner album comes from?
just don't listen to Interpol, it really REALLY doesn't help
It's tough in those situations as all music can all of a sudden seem like walking through a coridoor of memories, even if you hate the tracks. I'd say go all Trainspotting and listen to Born Slippy by Underworld, it's a good wasted but uplifting song, oh and plenty of Aphex Twin
Burn the witch.
i'd suggest 'caught out there' by kelis, though you maybe want angry boy stuff rather than angry girl stuff.
Fuck It (i Don't Want You Back)
(whatever you do, don't listen to maps)
i just listened to lifted by bright eyes solidly, not sure if it helped or not but it is good 'sorry for yourself' music
by Ben Folds Five, of course! Or 'Bitch went Nuts' by..... Ben Folds. He has breakups sorted.
Immature, perhaps, but cathartic as all get out. Both Song for the Dumped and The Bitch Went Nuts should be given to teenage boys on a CD when they enter into their first romantic relationship.
Doesn't sound like he's really the relationship king! What is it, his fifth marriage now??!
jump around screaming.
...both quite unsentimental which may fit your mood if she's been up to no good!!
it is car crash relationship trauma and righteous indignation set to music.
Girlfriend in a Coma...
ive read about girls like you on the back of toilet doors
this guy's gonna have one hell of a lousy week
glassjaw - everything you ever wanted to know about silence
works a treat!
You can lead a whore to water...
give it a chance past the slow beginning...
That would be a nice tranquiliser
..specifically piglet or the first time you're unfaithful
then top yourself.
i'm pretty sure that played. MARS FACT!!
I've got no one to call in the middle of the night anymore.
Love is a lie, which means I've been lied to.
theres a live version here (skip forward a few mins to get the song!): http://open.spotify.com/track/2DDRY9KoYxCNuWgU8wYOsi
s'all in the lyrics!
of nick cave, murder ballads.
:) YOU FUCKING WHORRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE
Surfer Rosa for its raw cathartic energy, 'Break my Body' indeed.
Doolittle for the "you whore" line from There goes my gun. Ha ha
I'm a Machine.
old school rap music! to ride out the woes on a wave of good vibes for a few weeks until your head has settled.
that, alternated with this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xp9Gm-aRe5A will remind you that all in life is still good.
rock the pain away.
Elvis Costello - I Want You
Bob Dylan - Mama, You Been On My Mind
Gang Of Four - Anthrax
by The Ataris
Jealous Again- Black Flag
or anything by Black Flag
I'll give some of these a shot. There is one song that is really gettin me now though
YYY's - Hysteric.
Its an absoluteley astounding track
..Evil Woman by E.L.O
Sick of you
Your pretty face is going to hell - The Stooges
Die, die my darling - Misfits
Outta me, onto you - Ani DiFranco
Followed by where were u in 92? by Zomby.
