The Royal Tenenbaums
Dazed and Confused
My Downfall (Original Soundtrack), Venetian Snares.
Young Guns II (lolololololol, etc)
all by an italian prog band called goblin
they've done a lot of others but most of them don't really work without the films
to say about Goblin, they're immense.
The Proposition s/t by Ellis and Cave is also fine to listen to without the music.
Dazed and Confused.
......and I alweays say
Natural Born Killers....
It has a fantastic eclectic but cohesive soundtrack and its by Trent Reznor and its the best thing he's ever done (even though hes a bit of a cock.)

Never seen the film but the soundtrack is made up entirely of various Stephin Merritt outlets.
the Dancer In The dark soundtrack album by Bjork. Incredible.
Both versions, though in particular, the predominently instrumental one.
Slow Ride by Foghat, Tush by ZZ Top *and* Stranglehold by Ted Nugent?
It's just fantastic!
And although The Crow is a very average film that has dated badly, the soundtrack still hold up.
soundtrack bliss much beloved of Stereolab, Broadcast, Espers and a host of other bands whose tastes you should trust.

the 24 hour party people OST is like a factory records best of which is pretty awesome.
soundtracked by explosions in the sky. enough said really
I owned the CD of this for years before watching the film, which made some of the lines in the film weirdly jarring.
