I know there is another thread on this but I'm lazy:
So are we saying (numbers as opposed to days for dual sites)-
Day 1- Radiohead
Day 2- Arctic Monkeys
Day 3- Kings Of Leon??
Or will there be a metal headliner. Because all the people who go for Slipknot, NOFX, Metallica etc are gonna be a bit pissed off no?
i expect so...
i think thats whats being said yeah (thats the leeds order though). i suspect radiohead will just headline a day of more alternative or metal acts. makes it quite hard to pick a band to go on before them though...
If Radiohead do day one
i will get a one day ticket, see that day, and then chill the rest of the festival around the campus.
after slipknot cancelled last year, i fully expect them to play this year
i expect radiohead to head line that day, (probably sunday) in the same way stereophonics headlined the sunday in 2000.
*shudder*
You just reminded me - that actually happened, didn't it? Dark days.
When do tickets go on sale?
(they do go on sale again don't they?)
late march....
but no one knows yet.
Hmmmm based on the headliners
I'm not fussed. Don't get me wrong, I love KOL & Radiohead, but not enough to pay out for a weekend ticket. It's nowhere near as exciting as last year. Last year brought me out of my 4 year Reading hiatus, this year I might go back into it.
i would argue
its the best lineup of the major festivals...
lol
You mean compare to V and errrrrrrrrmmm....V?
Hurrah!
This festival used to have the best line-ups in the entire world.
I might just get a day ticket for Radiohead this time round
Tickets go on sale March 30th according to official site
Can anyone actually confirm radiohead?
or is it just a rumour and we have to wait till the end of the month to find out if its true or not?
I'll be turning 18 at this year's Reading as well
Joint party?
Slipknot won't play Download and Leeds/Reading
Plus Blink 182 are almost certainly going to headline one of the days.
Refer to this post when lineup confirmed.
Friday - AC/DC
Saturday - KoL
Sunday - Prodigy followed by Arctic Bananas.
Reliable source and all that shit.
