anywhere between magnetic fields and pavement.
So I'll just mention mclusky, Tokyo Police Club and Cap'n Jazz.
Times New Viking and the Vivian Girls, but I'm not sure if they count as rustic indie, they're worth a listen anyway.
thayre not actually that Pavementy despite the name... kinda remind me of Lowenstein Sebadoh songs with annoying/great single string guitar lines.
let's wrestle and elliot whale boy... for no other reason than i guess i vaguely associate them with rust.
Heard their debut album last week, highly recommend it!
*check out "pregnant again"*
I'd also reccomend Sic Alps, Wavves, Lovvers, Women maybe...
Wavves as people have said, Women, GBV, some Pinback, Times New Viking
The Microphones are really good, and I'm not usually down for this sort of thing.
rusty indie sound?
anyway: internet forever www.myspace.com/internetforever
and for that matter,
more like microphones/magnetic fields than jay reatard
I'd say The Microphones.
Tokyo Police Club
the robot ate me
i don't know, what's rusty indie??
the long blondes' New Idols fits your demants, also beat happening, mission of burma, early a certain ratio, bush tetras, the breeders, sleater kinney, neils children? etc??
