but yes. I only have one album, 0:12. Really want to listen to it now but not on my work computer. I went to a gig in Seattle once where I was informed they would be playing but it was the Casket Lottery instead.
just felt like starting a few threads about some groups I like and seeing where they went. I've never listened to the Casket Lottery, don't they share members or something (or are a post-Coalesce group)?
0:12 is amazing, perhaps the best of their albums. Functioning On Impatience is fantastic too imo
rather stupidly I have never listened to them on record and don't remember much of the gig or what I thought. Think they were playing with Pedro the Lion or something well wet.
it was really toilet.
as it only mentions "some overseas jaunts" being planned alongside tours of both coasts of the states. Hopefully so though! I'm guessing..it'd be at the underworld if it happens at all.
Looking forward to it a lot too. I was thinking of getting there for a little after 8 - do you reckon this'll be sufficient for me to be there in time to see both bands?
FEN: 7.15 - 7.45
MELY: 8.00 - 8.30
DORNENREICH: 8.45 - 9.30
AGALLOCH: 9.45 - 10.50
I'm meeting drnvc early to catch Fen but if you can't make that I'd make it later if I were you unless you fancy a laugh - I listened to Mely the other day and they were a hilarious shower of shit. Although saying that, 'the five Austrians don’t spent much time on scratching the surface but engage with Dark Metal out of deeper regions with high recognize worth.'
so I'll see you guys later on to chuckle at / try to ignore Mely. Intriguing write-up though I must say. HIGH RECOGNIZE WORTH!
Get it adorned with some generic Derek Hess / Jake Bannon big skull artwork and it'll be a real scene delight
but they're making it as far as Sheffield:
colossalhorse approves of this. Though I'm probably gonna get too drunk and start demanding Zep covers.
coalesce are going to be amazing live. I've been a fan for too many years and never got to see them. Salt and Passage was a great return and the new record OX is, and should (i hope) blow some minds.
