After nightmares with label, we've decided to give this away free....Onwards and upwards n' all that.
so here 'ya.....
Sorry to hear about those cunting labels.
Also really looking forward to seeing what Tom Woodhead does.
I cant work out how to transfer to MP3, for I. R. Retard.
Mr Brigade is currently putting up a website for a full download of it...this link is just a temporary one...just kinda dont want people to pay for it on iTunes, as that money goes nowhere near us!
cheers...Tom produced this one, and we're back in studio with him in a week. Hope you like it.
Or does anyone know if it's at all possible to play m4a on WMP?
...i think i've just worked out how to make it MP3....i'll re-up it somewhere and post a link pronto....
Also, when do I get my money back?
a mess from start to finish really.....I'm just transferring the pre-order money into a paypal account so we can issue all the refunds - apparently this takes about a week. As soon as it's there, it'll be sent out!
Anyway......High Res MP3 Version of the EP is here -
you can hear the woodhead in it.
Yeah, Tom get's us moist too.....I think it's the natural reaction!
bad news about the label, hope you get something better soon! I look forward to hearing this :)
You know this already, but I think it's a damnably fine EP.
In related news from looking at your Myspace, there's going to be another Firebug White Noise festival, is there?
I think it's going to be a twice yearly thing. Last one was great.
I've been meaning to get some more of your stuff, i keep forgetting.
I'll get this to start!
i will be uploading the artwork to this to www.minnaars.com very very soon, featuring the beautiful face of the pre-orderees!
with many beautiful women
looking forward to giving it a blast once it stops taking forever to download.
its a good 10 months old at least this stuff, the first songs we wrote together, but I'm extremely pleased with a couple of them.
but what am I?
it took more than seventeen and a half hours. On the weekday dayshift we'd be talking minutes.
I was aghast.
we're touring with Venice Ahoy in April (details of which can be found on our myspace www.myspace.com/minnaars )so it'd be good to see you there. As Adam said, this EP represents old material for us, so it'll be a chance to hear new stuff. That, and VA are ace.
venice ahoy are a real band?
i remember the thread about them months ago. many lols to be had.
...and really nice lads too. I remember said thread...another case of very lazy Foals comparisons too as I recall? - Don't get that...There are hints of Maps and Atlases, but I dont get Foals at all....maybe that's just me?!
although the maps & atlases comparisons are stronger they owe a LOT to Foals.
i enjoyed the songs more than Foals' material however.
...but both bands have to share a sense of humour over these things! I've heard the stuff they recorded in New York - it's really good. THey're great live, too.
at the time of the thread was quite Foals-y.
But yeah, the Foals comparisons were quite lazy...
before Foals went massive, I seem to remember them being compared to Bloc Party every other sentence...I suppose people just apply the last band that was successful within a vaguely coherent genre.
Venice Ahoy are genuinely lovely people.
don't bring Rocky into this
I've decided that the Grammatics album, on balance, is fucking awesome
i've watched 1-4 in the last 24 hours...
