even though it was obviously a really exciting time for music, the mood t seems to convey is just how tedious playing the festival circuit is, it will also make you want to punch thurston moore in the face, my fvourite part is j mascis talking about uma
anyone who takes anything he says on it seriously needs a sense of humour
some of the behind the scenes footage is cringey.
wow i wonder why? no sarcasm i just..wonder why. also what the fuck wasnt the footage PRE courtney? surely dave and krist have the rights to film of themselves pre the era she was even around. man... she doesnt do herself any favours.
cant think of her even speaking in it
Thurston Moore's brilliant sense of humour.
or a DVD rip of American Hardcore (which I've seen before)
good job there's all this live footage to break up their kerrrazy antics
I interviewed Dave Markey about the film in 2005 and at that point they were still hopeful of getting a DVD release -- in fact, he had put together a 40 minute short from extra footage entitled "(This is Known as) The Blues Scale" specifically for a double disc DVD release that they were planning. They even had interviews and commentaries ready so it's frustrating that Courtney won't let it go through.
