i think mine is badly drawn boy ep no1 and the original copy of tigermilk
arctic monkeys 5 minutes with cd, though I wish i'd bought it on vinyl too, I didn't have a record player then so didnt bother getting it. Mistake.
Other than that Jimi Hendrix Band Of Gypsys with the puppet sleeve which was withdrawn cos of Brian Jones death.
The sigur ros - von remix ep seems to have some value these days, and the first salem 7" is going for £30 or so on ebay. My parents probably have a few, but their vinyl collection is in terrible condition.
Coldplay very first EP then Muse second EP ( should have sold that... )
But I think I've a few things much rarer but without any worth...
all of my 'rare' items are worthless (moneywise)! Yeah!
Where did you get it? I sold one to someone in France once...
Bought for 50p in a second hand record shop around the release date...
I never sold records...
Or I would have sold the safety EP !
Not that it's particularly valuable anymore.
How much is it worth, do you think?
Seems that eil.com don't have a copy but if they did they'd sell it for £75.
But each of these was only released in an edition of 500:
PJ Harvey - Sheela na gig 7"
Suede - The Drowners 7"
The Boo Radleys - Ichabod and I (maybe that was 1000 or 2000 though?)
Then there are the Pavement ones:
Perfect Sound Forever 10"
Demolition Plot J7 7"
I aint got Slay Tracks.
is that worth much? i never bothered to find out. got it for about 75p in the early pre-blur-getting-famous 90s.
Or the super gory Big Black Headache EP.
On CD and 7"
also precious to me
Fuck Buttons 'Bright Tomorrow' copy 980/1000
Primatives 7" 'Crash' and 'sick of it'
but i once sold Biffy's "thekidswhopoptodaywillrocktomorrow" to some goon on ebay for £100 :D
and all their early eps on vinyl. Don't even like them but maybethey will be wortha bit sometime.
I did have the first version of Creep on 12" and CD, now i've only got it on 12" and I don't know what happend to the cd. Plus pop is dead and anyone... on CD. They're not worth that much though are they?
Drill sells for over £100 or used to, but the vinyl not so well which I find a bit odd.
Surely half a million people have one?
i've got 'the coast is always changing' 7" by Maximo Park that i think you could only get from warp mail order or something? that must be worth like a fiver at least id say. Oh yeah and an original copy of 'electric ladyland' (with all the naked chicks) which i think is worth around £60-100. Couple other original and 'seminal' albums which might get a decent buck for now actually come to think of it.
5x5/1 - featuring Plaid, Stendec, etc. and sealed in a paper bag (which I've never opened) with stickers, badges, and a brushed aluminum keyring/bottle opener ... the first 5 were signed by all the artists so it could be even rarer, I guess
its my 12" promo of Shakermaker. Although I struggle to believe that there is anyone in existence who would actually pay the £150 they claim it's worth.
i didn't think they were worth jack shit.maybe its time to make some money or get a subscription to record collector(make mental note to myself to treat vinyl with love and respect)
Doves Cedar EP 10" (the debut one not the re-release)
Arctic Monkeys Five Minutes on CD & 7"
Coldplay Blue Room EP (probably not worth much)
Sure there are others but can't think of them now!
Oh, and it's not a record but I have an Oasis Stop The Clocks dartboard which I won in a competition. Sold a Frustration game and a watch that I also won for a few hundred each. The dartboard was fetching a grand at one point, wish I'd sold it then, although it is a very nice item to own :-)
