OK after not replying to their initial myspace message, we received a follow up today, and I'm going to paste it here:
Some time ago we have contacted you in regards to the shows that we run at the O2 Academy Islington. We would like to inform you that from March onwards, the industry showcases will be combined together with the BreakOut Festival Competition.
On the 7th February we will be holding a presentation meeting in London at our conference room in Regent's Park W1, where the details of the event, festival, international TV exposure, record showcase and terms and conditions will be explained. There will also be a question and answer segment with the music executives. If the band then decides to take part we will complete all the paperwork and book you on their first show at the O2 Academy 2.
I would like to invite you to this meeting, however, we ask that you to take the time to look through the links to see if this event may suit the band. Please note that attending the meeting does not commit the band to the event.
We will need your contact details so we can arrange a convenient time and send you the details of the meeting. Therefore, could you complete your band information online at our website (www. jarmusicgroup. com "application" at the bottom of the home page) or alternatively you can e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact details or call us on the numbers below.
I believe that this event will benefit the band tremendously,

So is this the kind of event that would suit YOU? Well there in the message is a link to a video for "Jar’s 2008 Signed Band “Fasy” Asia Tour (Concert)"
Erm, actuaLOL! Wow, signing up the Jar Music Group equals getting to tour Asia. And from the hilarious video it seems that the crowd really fucking love "Fasy". Well a quick google of that band would tell us the reason for that is that the band is Malaysian.
