No. I might get my vocal chords injected with silicon or something to fatten me up into a tenor.
is a baritone.
all say YES.
like leonard cohen
The Crash Test Dummies
are after another interesting vocalist?
never hurt Johnny Cash. or Mark Lanegan. Or Barry White.
Embrace your deepness. I wish I had a lovely full-bodied baritone. Now i have to plan recording sessions after drunken nights out, so I achieve that deep 'hangover voice' I long for.
There's some differences between the two.
I stand corrected.
What, specifically, are those differences?
vocals bass 77.782hz around d2 on piano to 369.99 f4 on a piano
baritone 103.83 around g2 to 466.16 or a4 on a piano (hard to read so the notes may be flat or sharp) so there is a lot of overlap
Basses are normally voices that can only stay at the one, low, register. For baritones, their usual pitch is normally a low tenor, which is higher than a bass, but they're able to move a bit higher up the scale. Voices are weird.
Maybe I'm a baritone, dunno. I can sing Whatever by Oasis.
...if you cannot see that for yourself, give up
That's pleasing. I thought they all sounded like Ian Curtis. Fuck it, I'll just work on increasing my range.
what the hell vocal range is he?
