some of his best work was released in the 90s
incredibly lazy journalism from that guardian guy. there are always a large amount of annoying tetchy retards who comment on every single post on thrashers wheat every day. its not exactly newsworthy is it? its like if i were to cut and paste a load of comments on brooklyn vegan and do an article on how 'some indie rock fans dont like certain music, others do, some think people who do like it are hipsters'
Obsessive fans are often the most over critical nit pickers. I wouldn't trust a fansite to give an objective view, good or bad.
Maybe it's a joke.
Either way The Guardian writers can Fork off, huhuh, i bet he hated 'Living With War' as well and i loved that so there.
PS what the fucks from with Greendale!?
It was a nice idea and all but just in the most part reeealllly dull.
I got the album first, so kind of knew the "story", but I remember that it still didn't seem to make much sense. I might rewatch it this week.
the inlay of the CD gives a vague outline of the story and what each song is about. The album is still kinda boring though....
my dad played me some of it and it was good
Yep, there are some really good tracks on there.
although i always find myself coming back to 'Zuma' in the end. Love it.
