Following on from the vinyl pressing questions, does anyone know if any vinyl pressing plants still press 78s?!
I have one and a half 78 rpm records, they serve as collectors items really. Especially the half considering it was smashed to pieces when it arrived so is impossible to play, they're really flimsy and quality degrades pretty fast to.
Also not many people would be able to play a 78rpm record would they? im under the impression most record players these days only do 33 and 45 rpm
came out last year in a 78rpm boxset, but it's a collector's or novelty item really...
What's wrong with a bit of novelty?!
if I were in a band i'd only release music on endless loop cassette tapes glued into old walkmens
