I spent my HMV & Play.com vouchers today. I got the following:

Neon Neon - Stainless Style
Flying Lotus - Los Angeles
Sigur Ros - Með Suð í Eyrum Við Spilum Endalaust
Tunng - Good Arrows
Spiritualised - Songs in A&E
Elbow - Alseep in The Back
Santogold - S/T
Noah and the Whale - Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down
Daft Punk - Alive 2007
Fleet Foxes - S/T

Pretty pleased with that lot. Did you get anything nice?

      • Thanks, Solar Bridge is amazing isn't it?

That Xela album is incredible; have you heard his last album, The Dead Sea? It's based on a story about a doomed sea voyage in which all the sailors end up being eaten by zombies or something.

        • It really is

I keep listening to it on my walk home from work, as it's exactly the right length, and it fits perfectly for night-time walks.

I haven't heard a note of xela before, but I'd been recommended him by a couple of people. Plus it was pretty cheap on boomkat! I'm looking forward to that.

          • Ah I hope you enjoy it!

If you do, The Dead Sea is generally 3.95 in the Boomkat sales. It's fairly different to In Bocca but well worth getting.

I quite like the way the Emeralds record is so short...you don't get many drone records which exhibit that level of self-restraint.

  • On Thursday I'm going to spend my £15 HMV voucher.

On the first series of 'Outnumbered'. Which is not music.
