i dont see them mentioned here much, but is there much appreciation from the members of DiS?
i love them
my friend has one that my other friend bought back from america. i got a run dmc one which is also pretty good, but i think i like beastie boys more
Paul's Boutique is one of my most listened to albums.
and she's just my type.
Albums with 'ill' in the title always go down well in the sbsc house.
and covering fight for your right with your band made up of friends is possibly the greatest way of spending your time ever
is the best music DVD ever. Especially the bits with Ben Stiller in them.
Expecting it to be a movie with lightsabers and shit. It wasn't, but it was still cool.
best bit is definitely the split screen to the guy walking to the bathroom
skills to pay the bills
I think I have most of their albums bar one or two, I use to play them loads when I was a young'un.
i had forgotten how much i loved them, theyve just got so many brilliant songs
I've got a DVD of loads of their videos as well that is a lot of fun.
I love Beastie Boys. Hello Nasty was my first album ever. Awesome. Pauls Boutique is one of my favourite albums ever. Licenced to Ill is the ultimate party album.
Is "Awesome I fucking shot that" any good?
Really scrappy hardcore punk.
not brilliant, and they evidently were more suited to what they did later, but its pretty good all the same
Yeah I like it, I find it funny to listen to it compared to their stuff now. Also, you can tell Blink 182 listened to 'Michelle's Farm' a lot. :D "Fuck the chickens I don't like milk" and "Farmer Joe fucks a cow he likes it so much he sucks a cow."
Check Your Head is the shit though. Mix Master Mike's solo stuff is top as well.
I love The Beastie Boys
there is none higher
i get 11 points off the word quagmire
best lyric ever
Last time they toured, anyhow. No wait, that would've been 18 months ago. Most expensive gig ticket I ever bought. Worth it.
turned out she got a boyfriend between me buying the tickets and us going.
Still, a 'hardcore' version of Sabotage made me lose my shit.
which I was kind of surprised at, but it was all fucking incredible.
Mind you it was £100 for two tickets to see Timberlake. Still the best show I've ever been to though.
