I've done this the past few Christmases and discovered some great stuff over the break. Here's the idea:

- You can suggest any music you like
- Ideally pick one act
- Don't assume I'm (everyone's) already aware of them as there's only so much stuff that enters my world
- Doesn't have to be a brand new act, can be old or recent'ish
- Summarize the music in a sentence or two of reference points
- Ideally it should be something you think I'd like (my taste sprawls from Tom Waits and CocoRosie to LCD, Cut Copy and The Field through Deftones and Panic at the Disco via Magnetic Fields and Blood Brothers)
- Include a link if possible to stream it (tho I have Spotify and know how to google/use the Hype Machine)
- Feel free to underscore a classic album I've maybe not ever bothered to listen to

They sound not unlike a twilit Talking Heads in Berlin or a mellower Trans AM. Def something for anyone who loves Postal Service or Cut Copy and all their blinky, bloopy, fizzy static...
