I've enjoyed what I've seen of the series, is the album worth listening to? It's only a fiver in Fopp so I'm tempted.
Buy the DVD instead.
or try and download it.
Inner City Pressure and Boom both sound awesome polished up though
and listen to it regulalrly. I have the DVD as well.
really clean big production. worth it.
at one point they were my top artist on Last.fm.
Buy it and blast Mutha'uckas out your car windows.
when it was released.
now i don't have a car, i don't really listen to it.
NU SERIES SOON OMG!
so far...ie that episode just there is cack. Sadness sets in
it was brilliance
That bit when they were discussing what women like to do had me in stitches.
'My dad's a women's rights activist'
'Really?! What about your mum?'
'Nah, Dad would never allow it. No way'
and that bit with the weaving? and the bit when they're at the pool and dave says 'they're probably all out doing brazilians' and the bit where Bret whispered 'but what are we gonna tell Martin Underscore Clark?' and the bit where Jemaine is all embarrassed and apologetic when he says 'double it' too early. and the bit where Brets gets out of the car in his woven pants and the bit where Brets in his toothpaste costume and the bit where Brets only in his dressing gown and the bit where Brets in his angel outfit.
thanks for that.
the ones on the show or the HBO One Night Stand concert ... and it misses out so many of their best songs from the show
They left the best song from the series off the CD.....
but maybe they made a decision to only put the sort of 'fantasy' songs on the album - like the songs where they slip out of their characters and are in proper music videos/ spoofing musical styles etc.
That song was just sung to Bret and was part of the plot if you know what I mean.
i just dont understand why anyone would by this.
why do people buy anything comedic? Because they might find it funny perhaps
DVD is fab but sometimes I just want the songs. £5! God bless t'interweb!
Fopp had suffered a sad, lonely death?
in London the one near Covent Garden was resurrected. It's a great shop.
It pays my wages.
Ive even turned my dad on to it, and now he exclusively shops there
