There's just something about bands doing a hometown gigs isn't there? I'm really excited about this one - the George Best gigs were fine but, well, I'm not a big fan of the whole playing-an-album-in-sequence formula.
I know there was generally a muted response to the new Weddoes record on the DiS boards, but it's really got under my skin the more i listened to it. There's something in the way Albini presses the record and play buttons that seems to bring out warmth and layers in their sound...
Anyone else seeing this tour?
