Anyone going to this? Should be good stuff, its a shame that there seems to be about 27 other gigs on tonight as well
Should be a good 'un
110 Grove Road, E3 5TH
Hit us with some times, as I live about 10 mins away from this place and I'm aiming for maximum 'leave it until the last minute to get there'-ness.
My friend tells me the American Apparel xmas do is there (The Victoria) next Friday. It is, like, so hot right now
And yes, what time will the first band be on?
It's going to be something like:
Mirror Mirror: 8:15
Factory Floor: 9:15
Kill Me Tomorrow 10:15
At the AP Xmas party there? Have to investigate tonight! I'm doing the day after that their..
- Absurdly attractive people
- More hoodies
I'm just going to come right out and say it, I'm jealous
once he has had a few ...
I can't imagine he's going to be there, But if I see an American chap in a thong I'l know who it is ; - )
Luminous bumbags as well... that seems to be "in" per AA but I haven't actually seen anyone where one... I reckon gotta be a few at the Xmas party!
Piss poor turnout sadly. Silly people!
I loved Factory Floor too. Thanks Anthony!
I thought they sounded really This Heat-esque, not sure what everybody else (all seven or so of us) thought.
The Victoria is a weird pub.
The bands were really good but shite turn out.. shame really as the line-up was top. You should of come said hello! I was DJin quite a bit with the curly black hair and suit jacket...
The bright news is that I just confirmed Drum Eyes for Catch on Jan22nd so happy about that: - )
Was a fucking shit turn out, not sure what happened really as the the bands were really good. One of those I guess! Should of come and said hello! I was DJing quite a bit with a suit jacket and wear your band t-shirt day Two Gallants on!
I'd seen Mirror! Mirror! (not to be confused with Mirror Mirror) before but was pleasantly surprised by Factory Floor and KMT were ace as well.
Not sure if this pub works as a gig venue though, the setup invites people to stay at their table and not go anywhere near the stage, and especially if it is as quiet as last night, it doesn't create much of an atmosphere.
Is a bit fucked and it's barely letting me post anything don't know why maybe it's my net. But yea Factory Floor are a great band and although I did have 1 brilliant show at The Vic (that was my 3rd) it doesn't help when there's not a lot of people for sure having the tables etc.
