See... I'm leaning towards the former after much love for the latter...
'Strange Symmetry' is, like, awesome.
I care not for your opinion.
unless it's out or something?
is totally out.
on their myspace page and thought they were gash. I'll have to go back and give them a re-listen. The Jaguar Love album doesn't have much replay value for me other than a few songs. Too much love for Blood Brothers.
both are pretty good
are better than both of the other two bands.
Past Lives have going on.
Not that I don't really like Jag Luv.
The Neon Blonde album - a great 'lost' classic?
get a job.
Haven't listened to it in a while, but it's a damn fine record. 'Dead Mellotron' and 'New Detroit' are wonderful.
that album grew and grew, brilliant brilliant lyrics too. Although I think perhaps Past Lives have more oppurtunity to grow.
I can imagine Jag basically staying where they are, soundwise.
...any band with him up front can't NOT be.
I think Jordan's vocals have really changed on past lives, and for the better IMHO.
johnny whitney well needs to tone the vocals back down
it has been reviewed on DiS too...
It just seems easier to like (or to "get") as it doesn't seem to far from The Blood Brothers.
I haven't grown to love Jaguar Love yet, infact, I don't think I've been able to get through one full listen of the JL album. I keep thinking that I should like but it feels like I'm trying to force myself to like it so I'm going to give it time and then come back to it.
