So, it's been almost a decade since Leisure Noise was released. The band have dissolved in a puff of journalist bitterness, press pressure, industry inability to market their name and their 2nd album sold about thirty copies (I could never even find it).
I think it's time to re-evaluate.
Leisure Noise is better than you could possibly remember. A superbly produced glam-psycheout, every song a winner, especially opener Dimstar and the epic Black Ghost.
I implore you - if you have a copy of Leisure Noise, put it on today, alow yourself a little nostalgia for the turn of the century, and wonder why Gay Dad weren't bigger than Jesus.
