Has anyone heard this? What do you think? On first listen, I love it. Seems more intense than Dimanche a Bamako, and the Damon Albarn-produced tracks are pretty awesome too, probably the best work he's done in years. I predict this might be on a fair few broadsheet 'Best of 2008' lists.
If you haven't heard them before, I'd recommend starting with Dimanche a Bamako before this one, and you can usually pick up a compilation of the best of their early work for about £5.
