I'm really pleased at how this interview went, everyone should check out his stuff too.
worth a try though hey...
Starkey's a new name for me but I see his name bandied about in magazines, will have to have a listen.
coming on Planet Mu soon.
I have a review to go up soon too.
Planet-Mµ are so on the ball these days. I guess they always have been, but it seems like they're being extra proactive lately. I'll be getting this, Mµ release rarely let me down.
Neil Linstrumm has an album coming soon as well, it's pretty good, like a electro sort of thing with elements of dubstep and techno, but its most electro. It's not up there with Distance and Starkey but its a nice listen.
they are of a decent length as well (2 or 3 minutes)
you certainly deserve your MAH shouts!
I liked the remix of Zomby's Spliff Dub - I hadn't heard that before (I have the Rustie one)
I'm certainly going to be getting Ephemeral Exhibits that's for sure.
I just talk to much in her threads so she shouts me out.
It's a good one, I think Spliff Dub is a pretty old track but the remixes came out this year to keep it fresh. Starkey's and Rusties are the best I've heard.
did you listen to that mad grime thing on there too, the message is love? It cracks me up when the sexy breakdown comes in.
and I'm listening again now; I've just favourited it
my YouTube friends are goin' to share in the love message!
excellent read. like how he refused to say who he'd pick for generation bass, but you kind of got it out of him later by asking about his favourite current tunes.
thought that starkey and durrty goodz tune was wicked by the way, nice and metallic.
its a good un, Starkey went all out with the answers.
I had a feeling it was going to be Goodz on the vocal as it's on blackdown label and he loves goodz. But Starkey wouldn't say anything when I asked these questions.
