So I've decided to pay homage to the guy Hendrix lovingly referred to as 'Granny Goose' with a few of my favourite Mitch moments, who is arguably one of Britain's greatest ever drummers.
2.06 Despite being up to the eyeballs on acid he manages to make an miraculous recovery with a hilarious drum fill!
By Jimi's standards this was a pretty painful gig but Mitch was well on form that night. He is also the skinniest drummer ever and looks as if he's been living off scraps.
