I really really love The Cure, but I've seen them live twice and I'd rather not pay money to the sodding NME if I can avoid it.
I don't like the NME, Seetickets, Ticketmaster, the O2, the prize and the surcharges, booking months in advance, giving them all my details, etc etc. plus it looks like The Cure probably won't play a full set since there's going to be three or four more acts on the bill and it starts at about 6 pm. A full Cure show = at least 3 hours!
which will be less satisfying, especially with the sound at the O2 (hereby renamed the Temple of Boom). Sod sitting through a load of poxy NME chosen bands and paying Ticketmaster a fiver to deliver the ticket on top of booking fees also. If it was a bill they'd handpicked, it'd be more interesting. Just mentioned the presale in case anyone desperately wanted to see them, really.
do you know when the full batch of tickets will be on sale then?
